Cloud cost answers

Private beta

The AI is not allowed to write.

ArgentOps AI is a chat-first way to query your cloud bill. The model chooses from a closed set of options, and deterministic queries produce every figure you see.

In private beta with a small group of testers. Pricing isn't final yet.

What it does

Six things it does, and one thing the AI never does.

  1. Ask01

Plain English, or a slash command

Ask about spend the way you would ask a colleague, or go straight to /explore, /forecast, /changes or /report. Chat history and charts are saved.

    • Plain-English questions
    • Four slash commands
    • Saved charts
  2. Select02

The AI selects. It never writes.

A small, typed classifier fills a closed set of choices: intent, period, grouping, filters, chart and answer shape. It cannot produce free text or numbers.

    • Typed classifier
    • Closed set of choices
    • Fixed sentence templates
  3. Answer03

    KPIs, charts, tables and reports

Answers come back as figures, one of 25 chart types or a table, and download as PDF, Word or Excel. Each one labels the cost basis it used, and currencies are never summed together.

    • 25 chart types
    • PDF, Word, Excel
    • Effective or billed cost
  4. Forecast04

A forecast that states its method

Each forecast says whether it used a trailing 3-month average, a trailing 6-month average or a linear method, and how many months of history sit behind it. You can switch the method.

    • Trailing averages
    • Linear
    • History shown
  5. Clarify05

    It asks before it guesses

When it isn't confident, it asks a clarifying question with options. It holds daily cost by provider, account, service, region and currency, so it says plainly when a question needs resource, tag or hourly detail.

    • Clarifying questions
    • Daily grain
    • Closest available answer
  6. Connect06

Read-only, and the AI never sees your costs

Connectors use read permissions you grant, and stored credentials are encrypted. The model receives the question text and matched names, never cost amounts, usage or files.

    • FOCUS CSV upload
    • AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
    • AES-256-GCM credentials

Look closer

Three answers, all from demo data.

An ArgentOps AI answer comparing October and September 2026 by service, with a total change of minus $5,987.96, and its source, cost basis and row count underneath, labelled as demo data.

Changes

What moved, and how to trace it

/changes compares two periods service by service. Like every answer, it shows the period, the cost basis, the data source and how many rows it used, and you can switch between effective and billed cost.

An ArgentOps AI forecast by service with its method stated as a trailing 3-month average, based on May to October 2026, with actual spend continuing as forecast lines.

Forecast

The method is part of the answer

This forecast says it is based on a trailing 3-month average, using May to October 2026 as its history. It also labels the cost basis it used.

ArgentOps AI replying to a question about Google Cloud: there's no Google Cloud data yet, the connected providers are AWS, Microsoft and Oracle, with controls to choose what to show, the period, the grouping and the cost basis.

Clarify

No data, no guess

Asked about Google Cloud in a workspace that has no Google Cloud data, it says so and lists what is connected. It then offers the choices to run a question it can answer.
